1. These are the full terms and conditions governing the “Gibson Sonisphere Rocks Competition” (“Competition”) run by Gibson UK Limited (“Sponsor”) for the chance to win the prize below (”Prize”). Subject to the conditions set forth, the Competition is open to all UK residents who are age 18 or over (Entrants).Directors, officers and employees of Sponsor, its parent, and any of their respective affiliate companies, subsidiaries, agents, professional advisors, advertising and promotional agencies, and immediate families of each are not eligible to win any prizes. All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. There is no cost to enter or win. Offer void where prohibited. In the event of any dispute, entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the owner of the e-mail address from which the e-mail was sent.

2. By entering their name into the Competition, Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Competition Rules and to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its respective subsidiary or affiliated companies from and against any and all claims or actions of any kind, whether under contract, tort, or any other legal theory, and agree to indemnify Sponsor against any liability or expense arising in connection with the foregoing. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend or modify the Competition or any part of it, within its sole discretion.

3. Sponsor reserves the right to exclude any entry from the competition at any time and in its absolute discretion if the Sponsor has reason to believe that an Entrant has breached these rules.

4. The Prize Includes:

a. The opportunity to either represent Gibson as a Photographer at the ‘Sonisphere UK’ music festival on 8 -10 July 2011(“Festival”).

b. One (1) Media Photo pass for you at the Festival under the same terms as accredited photographers. One (1) of your respective guests will also be provided a Media pass.

c. VIP camping and parking at the Festival plus a guest. Winner and guest to provide their own tent. Travel to and from the Festival is at your own expense.

d. Selection of your photographs from the Festival to appear on www.gibson.com plus credited accordingly.

e. Crew catering for you and your one (1) guest over the period of the Festival

f. No alternative prize is available and the prize is not transferable. There is no cash alternative for the prize. There is no cash alternative and it cannot be sold or transferred.

5. Only one (1) entry will be accepted per Entrant

6. How to Enter

a. Entrants must send ONE (1) photograph of a Live Music Gig as an attachment to gibson.photographer@gmail.com. This attachment must not exceed 1MB in size.

b. Each entry must be marked with the Entrants name, email address, and phone number. Entrant shall provide a brief description of what gig the photo was taken at. Sponsor will only use the personal details that Entrant submits in relation to the publicity noted below and to administer the Competition.

7. Images may be digitally enhanced to remove spots or scratches, but not manipulated. Entrants can enhance the picture to make it brighter, clearer etc., but not manipulate the content. Sponsor and the judges reserve the right to exclude any image they believe may have been excessively treated so as to alter its authenticity.

8. All entries will be judged by a panel of judges. The judges will select the winning photograph (“Winner”) which, in their opinion best reflects the spirit of live music. They will consider a range of factors including composition, technical ability, originality, and the commercial appeal of the photographs. The judging panel’s decision is final.

9. Entries must not upload photos, the content of which is offensive, blasphemous, racist, or infringes the copyright or other rights of third parties.

10. The Competition closes as midnight on June 26, 2011 and all entries must be submitted before this deadline. Notification of winners will be no later than midnight on July 4, 2011. The Winner will be notified by email or phone number

11. All entries must be the original work of the Entrant and must not infringe on the rights of any other party. The Entrants must be the sole owner of copyright in the photograph entered. Further, entrants must not have breached any laws when taking their photographs.

12. Entrants must not be professional photographers and, for the purposes of this competition, a professional photographer will be considered to be someone who makes more than half their annual income from the sale of their photographs

13. Prior to submission, Entrants must not have offered any of their entries for sale, been paid for any publication of any of their entries or won or been a runner up in any other photographic competition with their entry.

14. Entrants will retain copyright in the photographs that they submit to Gibson. By entering the competition, all entrants grant to Gibson the right to publish and exhibit their photographs on the Gibson Website. Entrant who wins the competition grants to Gibson the further rights to publish and exhibit their photographs in print, on their website or in any other media. No fees will be payable for the above uses. Entrant who wins the competition also agrees to take part in post- competition publicity. While we make every effort to credit photographs, including in printed reproductions of their work, we cannot guarantee that every broadcast use of the photographs will include photographs name.

15. As a condition of being awarded the Prize, Winner will be required to execute and deliver to Sponsor a signed Affidavit of Eligibility, which includes an acceptance of these Official Rules and a release of liability.

16. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel this Competition or alter any of the rules at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of its control.

17. If the Winner is unable to be contacted after reasonable attempts have been made, Sponsor reserves the right to either offer the prize to a runner up or to re-offer the Prize in any future competition.

18. Sponsor will not be liable to provide an alternative prize or any cash equivalent if, for whatever reason, the Festival does not take place and/or is cancelled.

19. Winners of the Prize and their guests must comply with all reasonable instructions of us and any third parties organizing the Festival in respect of their attendance at the Festival and shall be bound by any terms and conditions and rules presented by us or such third parties in respect of the Festival.

All requests for Official Competition Rules must be made by December 31, 2011.The winner’s list will be available until July 4, 2013 on Gibson.com.

21. The Competition and these Official Rules will be governed, construed and interpreted under the laws of the United Kingdom.Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects.Sponsor reserves the right to change these Official Rules at any time, in its sole discretion, and to suspend or cancel the Competition or any entrant's participation in the Competition should viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention or other causes beyond Sponsor's control affect the administration, security or proper play of the Competition or Sponsor otherwise becomes (as determined in its sole discretion) incapable of running the Competition as planned.Entrants who violate these Official Rules, tamper with the operation of the Competition or engage in any conduct that is detrimental or unfair to Sponsor, the Competition or any other entrant (in each case as determined in Sponsor's sole discretion) are subject to disqualification from entry into the Competition.Sponsor reserves the right to lock out persons whose eligibility is in question or who have been disqualified or are otherwise ineligible to enter the Competition.If you have any questions about these Official Rules or the Competition, please e-mail them to david.bower@gibson.com.
