Gibson’s SG electric has been a classic design for decades, but the 2018 range is justifiably getting a lot of attention. With a six-strong range crammed with options to suite every taste and style of player, it just might be the best time to buy a Gibson SG ever. Your options are...

SG Junior

Rock machines don’t get much simpler than this, and it is a beast. 2018’s SG Junior guitar delivers vintage looks and tones, but with improved modern playability, including that SlimTaper neck profile. The iconic double-cutaway body is solid mahogany, as is the neck, while there’s a really nice period-inspired appointment in that Gibson historic script headstock logo. With its nickel wraparound bridge and single dog-ear P-90 pickup it will give you all the rowdy and powerful tones you need in a lean package.
