For fans of the legendary guitarist, hoping to catch a glimpse of him live on stage, two (maybe even three) new opportunities have just opened up. Eric Clapton has officially announced two back-to-back live dates at New York’s Madison Square Garden, scheduled for October 6 and 7. These shows are (so far) his only North American dates for 2018, and will follow his headlining show in London’s Hyde Park in July.

(Interestingly, the tour listings page on Clapton’s website features three Madison Square Garden shows, with the third on October 8. It’s uncertain at this time if this is simply a logistical error or if there will be an announcement of an extra show soon.)

The Madison Square Garden shows will see Clapton performing with his current band of Nathan East on bass, drummer Sonny Emory, guitarist Doyle Bramhall II, Chris Stainton on keyboards, Paul Carrack on organ and keyboards and Sharon White and Sharlotte Gibson on vocals. The shows will also feature special guests Gary Clark Jr. and Jimmy Vaughan.
